Support for Landlords Outside Wellington or Overseas
If you own a rental property in Wellington but live outside the region or are travelling overseas, we can provide practical local support while you are away.
This may include being a local point of contact, helping with rental property inspections, responding to maintenance concerns, arranging access for repairs, and keeping you informed about anything that needs attention.
For landlords leaving New Zealand for more than 21 days in a row, Tenancy Services says they must appoint an agent in New Zealand before they leave. The agent must be someone in New Zealand who can manage the property while the landlord is away.
Overseas landlord agent service starts from $75+GST per property. Additional work is charged separately.
